Gabriela is a very versatile makeup artist with over 10 years experience
After a success career in the beauty industry Gabriela fall in love with the character and injury makeup.
Her passion for film and makeup started in her early childhood when her grandma would take her to the local cinema in Baia Mare – Romania, where she was working as an usher and allow her watch all the films available at that time. Then, her mother influenced the start of her journey as a makeup artist by giving her small tasks in creating makeup looks from a young age for her existing hairdressing clientele.
Gabriela has a strong background in fine arts, teaching and cosmetology. With her experience and and an ability to connect on individual level with each client, Gabriela is one of the most versatile all round makeup artist you can find. She been trained to a high level by the multi Academy Award winner Kazuhiro Tsuji, Stuart Bray and Bafta winner David Malinowski.
Gabriela been awarded The Highly Commended Award at The English Hair and Beauty Awards 2022, The Best Hair and Makeup Award at Global Independent Film Awards 2020, National Winner of Makeup Artist of the Year 2020 at The British Hair and Beauty Awards, I Am Film Awards London 2019 and at Global Film Festival Awards Los Angeles 2019.
She is a member of the BECTU Union, BAFTA CONNECT member and an a-pointed Champion by the Hair and Beauty Industry Authority – HABIA for setting standards within her field as well as a proud Behind The Mask Champion in raising awareness against domestic abuse.
